Board Game me

I decided to "become a board gamer" in December 2019 having been a keen player of games for much of my life but unaware of the existence, success and diversity of modern board gaming. In 2020, I found the Board Game Barrage podcast in February and the discord in April. The podcast and discord community were my surrogate game group until early 2021 when I setup a very small discord made up of some of the UK BGB fans I'd met the previous year. By early 2022 I had been going to a couple of local, public game nights regularly enough to form a private group and we've been gamng most weeks since.

I'm using the BGB wiki as an opportunity to learn the wiki editing skill set, to express my appreciation for the Board Game Barrage podcast and community and hopefully to contribute to it.

I'm keen to get involved in any BGB wiki ideas that other community members are working on so, if that's you, do get in touch. Meanwhile, this is what I have been/am working on:

Feature Topic categorisation - I'm happy with Category:List and Category:Questions.
Convention and Category:Player Behaviour started but still need significant work.
Category:Look Forward, Look Back, Deep Dive, Hobby and Game Design still to be worked through. Mostly though Neilan just needs to apply the categories for all the episodes! ;)
Episode 89 transcript started ... (Episode 1 transcript complete.)
Listener mentions - intended as a better location for such things as opposed to using Episode_Notes which (I think) should be more BGB Tank & Content focussed ...
Identify the first mention of "between the sheets" for Q&A
Exit: The Game series - intend to extend this, to at least the extent that Oink Games has been extended.
Notes: Neilan has played 6 as of Episode 21: The Beautiful Game and recommends 2 players as the optimal player count. He and Kellen agree that Abandoned Cabin is generally considered the best one.
