The original deckbuilding game, in which players use gold to buy from a central market of action cards, more gold, and victory points, improving their deck every time they draw through and reshuffle it. Points are imperative to win, but since they do nothing else, buying them too early will make your deck weak. Dominion has received over a dozen expansions since its release.
Dominion won the Spiel des Jahres in 2009.
