Originally slated to be normal top 5 episodes but things got weird. Each tank submits their own list of the best games and, using the Pub Meeple ranking engine, these appear in a series of 1 v 1 battles. In each battle the tanks reach a majority decision on which game they prefer, ultimately producing a ranked list of the best games according to Board Game Barrage.

The Tanks compete to draft games from those available to create the best collection of five. Making choices motivated by critical insight or shameless pandering to public opinion is a difficult choice because the best collection is ultimately decided by a listener vote.
