Draft. This page is a work in progress...just spit-balling here.
- Many players may miss a day or two, especially on weekends. As such, tournament settings should permit extra time. On Board Game Arena, this should be (15?) days which allows (7?) days per player
- That said, try to be able to make a move or two a day, especially during weekdays. If you’re going to consistently be only making a move once every day or two, you should not participate.
- Several players may have never played this game before and/or just flat out stink at it. Don’t get upset if a game is not as competitive as you’d like.
- In general, in regards to chatting during games, follow the Discord Rules. Some more specific guidelines for tournament chatter:
- Trash talking is OK. Just don’t overdo it.
- No personal insults
- It’s OK to talk about the game and strategy, e.g. negotiating with other players to take down a leader is fine.
- Announce the tournament on as many community channels. The more players the better.
- Most of all have fun! And win. You’d better win.
