<p>I decided to "become a board gamer" in December 2019 having been a keen player of games for much of my life but unaware of the existence, success and diversity of modern board gaming. In 2020, I found the Board Game Barrage podcast in February and the discord in April. The podcast and discord community have been my surrogate game group ever since. I'm using the BGB wiki as an opportunity to learn the wiki editing skill set, to express my appreciation for the Board Game Barrage podcast and community and hopefully to contribute to it.
