What is a Math Trade anyway?
Say you have the following situation:
- Neilan owns Biblios but would prefer Feast for Odin
- Kellen owns Feast for Odin but would prefer Innovation
- Mark owns Innovation but would prefer Biblios
In the above example, no one person is interested in doing a trade with any other single person. That's where math trading comes in!
In a math trade you list all the items you have that you're willing to trade, then look at all the items everyone else is offering and decide which of your items you'd be willing to give up for specific items in the trade. And what you get is:
Neilan gives Biblios to Mark who gives Innovation to Kellen who gives Feast for Odin to Neilan...and everyone's happy. Especially Mark since he got the best game.
